Frontier starts trading on Aim

SOFTWARE group Frontier Developments yesterday started trading on the junior stock market following a £4m share sale.

The company, founded in 1994 by co-author of the Elite game David Braben, has joined the Alternative Investment Market (Aim) to boost its profile and fund new work on its Cobra software platform.

It raised £2.8m in June ahead of its float, and last year raised £1.6m via Kickstarter, the crowd funding site.
