Farnborough revenues take off

Revenues at Farnborough Airport soared 11.9 per cent in the year to the end of March, as its landing fees and ancillary turnover made up for broadly flat traffic. The airport took 24,012 take-offs and landings in the year, up by just 62 in spite of the government allowing owner TAG to raise the number of flights to 50,000 by 2019. Profits rose from £6.8m to £8m.
