SUPPORTERS marched through central London to the headquarters of the Premier League yesterday in protest at ticket prices.

Representatives of fans’ groups from Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool joined Football Supporters’ Federation chief Kevin Miles for an hour of talks with league boss Richard Scudamore.

It comes amid concern at the cost of attending football, particularly for away fans, and despite top-flight stadia being a record high 95 per cent full.

Miles said: “The turnout on the march and the position articulated by the delegates brought home the strength of feeling among fans.”
