Digital ad market grows faster

The UK digital publisher advertising market grew by 16.2 per cent in the first quarter of 2013, a much faster level of growth than previously seen. Figures from the Association of Online Publishers in conjunction with Deloitte showed that video was by far the fastest growing sector of the market, up 56.4 per cent on a year ago. “Year-on-year growth is double what we saw for the same quarter last year,” said Deloitte’s Howard Davies.
