Communisis plans restructuring

Marketing group Communisis announced plans yesterday to make annual savings of up to £4m from014 by restructuring its production facilities. The firm will transfer its Trafford Wharf cheque printing operation to its Leeds facility, with the move expected to be completed by the end of 2013. Communisis expects cost savings to come through after an initial net exceptional charge of £3.5m over the next year. Shares in the firm edged up by 1.38 per cent yesterday to close at 55p.
