Cloud firm Iomart’s profits up

Profits at Aim-listed cloud-computing firm Iomart have risen by 50 per cent as firms increasingly look to store data online. The Glasgow-based company said revenues in the year to April were up 29 per cent to £43.1m while profit before tax was up from £5.8m to £8.7m. The results, which were boosted by a number of acquisitions, allowed Iomart to up its dividend by 56 per cent.
