There were no problems for getting in to work today. It seems my colleagues have been prepared for the Olympics for a while now and are using their common sense to get around the hotspots along the Central Line by using other stations.
My commute to work was fine; the Tube has been running much better than expected and it is no better or no worse than usual. However, it's still early days yet and the athletics beginning this weekend will provide a real test for the Underground.
Getting to work was no problem and I think many City workers seem to be heeding the advice and making prudent travel arrangements, even in avoiding Olympic driving routes. If anything my commute was less busy than usual, which was a pleasant surprise!
