I have lived in Japan and Hong Kong, and North Korea’s threats are a regular thing. I don’t think anything is going to happen. China and Russia are fed up and have no support for them any more.
North Korea are pretending; they do it all the time. They just want to create a reaction to the sanctions placed on them and get attention. They won’t go through with it. I am not worried.
I don’t think the situation is serious. North Korea is the underdog, and its bark is far worse that its bite. Obviously there are issues with Japan, and America, and he [Kim Jong-Un] wants to show he means business, but nothing will come of it.
