City vacancies stuck in slump

OPPORTUNITIES for jobs in financial services slipped again in April, with 22 per cent fewer vacancies than the previous year, according to Morgan McKinley.

Though the number of people seeking new jobs in finance last month also fell from the 2012 level, a smaller decline of five per cent left more candidates fighting for each new position.

The research also found that 36 per cent of City employees were not happy with their bonus payments for 2012-13.
