<strong>Travelodge</strong><br />The hotel chain has appointed Charlie Herbert as its new e-commerce director.<br /><br />Herbert has been working at the group on a consultancy basis since March. In his new role, he will sit on the executive team and report directly to UK managing director Guy Parsons.<br /><br />He has previously worked with a number of top consumer brand retailers, including The AA, Homeserve, British Gas, Goldfish, Motorola and Natwest.<br /><br /><strong>PSigma</strong><br />Lachlan Yearsley is to join the investment advisory firm as operations manager, effective from early September.<br /><br />Yearsley joins from Credit Suisse, where he spent the past 23 years, most recently as head of pricing and valuations and pooled pension administration. <br /><br />In his new role, he will work alongside Bill Mott and the PSigma UK equities fund management team.<br /><br />The appointment comes after PSigma recently purchased four former Credit Suisse funds with a total value of around &pound;600m.<br /><br /><strong>Ambrian Capital</strong><br />The stockbroking firm has appointed John Wolff as an adviser to its commodities division. Wolff is one of the industry&rsquo;s most recognised figures, having worked for over 30 years for Rudolf Wolff &amp; Co, with over half that time acting as a main board director.<br /><br />In 1993, he founded John Wolff International, a consultancy advising companies on various aspects of metal production, trading and broking. He has also previously been chairman of the London Metal Exchange board and sat on the board of the London Gold Futures Market and the Joint Exchanges Committee.<br /><br /><strong>ASPone</strong><br />Nicole Goh has joined the financial market data and software services group as head of the Asia-Pacific region.<br /><br />Goh, who will work from the firm&rsquo;s new Asia-Pacific office in Singapore, joins from IPC.<br /><br /><strong>NSAFS</strong><br />The National Skills Academy for Financial Services has appointed Sue Ramsey as regional director for Yorkshire and Humber.<br /><br />Prior to joining the institution, Ramsey was UK learning development manager for National Australia Bank and was also a member of the Skills Academy regional employer board.<br /><br />She has also previously worked as a learning manager at Abbey.<br /><br /><strong>Silverdell</strong><br />The Aim-listed asbestos remediation and consultancy firm has appointed Ian Johnson as its new finance director.<br /><br />Johnson formerly worked for Taylor Woodrow in a range of senior commercial and financial roles, and also previously been finance director at McBride and group financial controller at Regus.<br /><br /><strong>Ashurst</strong><br />The law firm has appointed Dan Hamilton as a restructuring partner.<br /><br />Hamilton joins from rival White &amp; Case, where he was a partner for the past seven years, specialising in corporate and financial restructuring and non-contentious insolvency. He also previously worked at Cameron McKenna for eight years.
