<strong>Electra</strong><br />The private equity group has appointed Roger Perkin as a non-executive director.<br /><br />Perkin is a former senior partner at Ernst &amp; Young, where he spent 40 years of his career. He was previously lead auditor to UBS from 1998 to 2005 and has worked for clients including 3i, Resolution and Henderson.<br /><br />He also recently advised Sir David Walker on his report into corporate governance in financial services.<br /><br /><strong>TradeRisks</strong><br />Baroness Ford has joined the investment banking boutique as a non-executive director.<br /><br />Ford was appointed to chair the Olympic Park Legacy Company in May this year, having joined from Royal Bank of Canada, where she was a senior adviser in the bank&rsquo;s global infrastructure.<br /><br />She is also currently senior independent director of Serco, a non-executive director at Grainger and an adviser to the Stockland Corporation, one of Australia&rsquo;s leading developers.<br /><br /><strong>Hewitt Associates </strong><br />The HR consultancy has hired Laun Middleton and David Page to its UK investment consulting team.<br /><br />Middleton has worked in the pensions and investment industry for over seven years, primarily in Deloitte&rsquo;s UK investment services team.<br /><br />Page joins from accountancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he advised trustee and corporate clients on manager selection, investment strategy and asset liability modelling.<br /><br /><strong>EM Consulting</strong><br />Joseph Williams has rejoined the recruitment group, which focuses on the professional services, private equity and commerce and industry sectors, as a senior associate in the consulting division.<br /><br />He spent the past two years working in financial services at a rival executive search business.<br /><br /><strong>Hotbed</strong><br />The private investor syndicator has appointed Georgina Barber as head of client services.<br /><br />Barber was previously a strategy specialist within BT Global Services&rsquo; global banking business unit, where she managed the firm&rsquo;s relationship with over 150 corporate clients.<br /><br />In her new role, she will be responsible for developing client services at Hotbed, launched in 2002 by former 3i investment director Gary Robins.<br /><br /><strong>Loan Market Association</strong><br />The LMA has announced the resignation of David Fewtrell, one of its vice chairmen, from its board.<br /><br />Fewtrell is a long-standing LMA board member and has been actively involved in the association since its inception in 1996.
