CITY MOVES WHO'S SWITCHING JOBS

<strong>Deutsche Bank</strong><br />Deutsche Bank&rsquo;s private wealth management division said yesterday it had appointed Kwong Kin Mun as head of private banking for its South East Asian arm. He will take up the position from 21 December. Prior to this, Kin Mun had been the head of private banking for South Asia at DBS Private Bank in Singapore. He joined DBS in 2003 as Head of Marketing and of Private Banking.<br /><br /><strong>Cazenove Capital Management </strong><br />Cazenove Capital yesterday announced the appointment of Kuldip Shergill as senior investment analyst on its five-member European equity team. Shergill previously worked at Gartmore where he was a pan-European analyst.<br /><br /><strong>BTIG</strong><br />BTIG, a broker specialising in institutional trading and related<br />brokerage services, said it had appointed Robert Smith as managing director who will focus on pan European sales trading. The broker also said it appointed James West as a<br />director.<br /><br /><strong>CBA</strong><br />The Commonwealth Bank of Australia said yesterday veteran bond banker Simon Maidment would be joining its team as head of funding. In the new Sydney-based role, Maidment will report to the bank's treasurer. Maidment was head of fixed income at UBS until he resigned in 2008.<br /><br /><strong>Queensland Treasury </strong><br />Rupert Haywood, Suncorp-Metway&rsquo;s head of funding, will join Queensland Treasury on 11 January as general manager for strategic partnership. Haywood, who spent six years at Suncorp in Brisbane, previously worked in London for Macquarie Bank.
