<strong>RWC Partners</strong><br />The asset manager has appointed Mike Corcell to its London office to launch a new UK long/short equity fund, expected to open in the third quarter of this year.<br /><br />Corcell joins RWC from SAC Investment Management, which he joined last year after a five-year stint at Threadneedle, where he launched and managed the $700m Threadneedle American Crescendo fund.<br /><br /><strong>PricewaterhouseCoopers</strong><br />The business advisory firm has appointed its leisure director, David Trunkfield, as its new UK head of gaming.<br /><br />Trunkfield, who has spent the past eight years at the firm advising clients such as Gala Coral, Rank and Sisal, moves from leader of travel and leisure within the strategy group to overall head of gaming.<br /><br />He previously worked at the COBA Group, a boutique strategy consultancy.<br /><br /><strong>JO Hambro Capital Management</strong><br />The boutique investment management firm has hired Michael Hogg as an analyst. Hogg will support John Wood, the senior manager of the firm&rsquo;s &pound;380m UK opportunities fund, and his co-manager Ben Leyland.<br /><br />He joins from accountancy firm BDO Stoy Hayward, where he was a corporate finance manager within their transactions department.<br /><strong><br />Ropner Insurance Services</strong><br />The Lloyd&rsquo;s of London broker has appointed David Pratt-Sinclair and James Sergeant to its non-marine team, bringing over 46 years of experience in the sector between them.<br /><br />Pratt-Sinclair joins from Houlder Insurance Brokers, having formerly worked at Lochain Patrick, Horace Holman and PWS, where he served as deputy chairman on the international board. <br /><br />Sergeant also joins from Houlder Insurance, where he was responsible for producing and placing open market and binder business throughout the United States.<br /><br /><strong>CB Richard Ellis</strong><br />The real estate services firm has appointed Alistair Jespersen as a senior director to its building consultancy group.<br /><br />Jespersen has over 30 years experience in the commercial property and was previously at Cyril Sweett, which acquired Altonwood Management and Consulting, the retail and mixed-use development specialist he co-founded in 1992.<br /><br />In his new role, he will be responsible for advising on project management of mixed use, retail and healthcare developments.<br /><br /><strong>Stewarts Law</strong><br />The niche litigation firm has hired Emma Hatley, formerly a partner at rival Withers, to its divorce team.<br /><br />Hatley, who specialises in acting for entrepreneurs, City professionals and their partners, was elected to the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in 2008. <br /><br />She was also previously named the Spears Wealth Management under-40 lawyer of the year.
