CITY MOVES WHO'S SWITCHING JOBS

<strong>Deloitte</strong><br />The business advisory firm has appointed risk management specialist Philipp Keller to its European Solvency II team.<br /><br />Keller, who joins the Zurich office as head of insurance risk management, was previously head of research and development and a board member of the Federal Office of Private Insurance in Switzerland. <br /><br />He is also an adviser on monetary and capital market issues to the IMF and consults on assessing the impact of the insurance market on global financial stability.<br /><br /><strong>LDC </strong><br />The private equity arm of the Lloyds Banking Group has hired John-Paul Preston to its legal and risk team.<br /><br />Preston previously worked as a legal counsel at Coutts, where he advised on the structuring and running of a number of investment vehicles, in addition to structuring finance for individuals and entities both on and off-shore.<br /><br /><strong>HSBC Private Bank</strong><br />The private bank has appointed Bernard Rennell as global head of private wealth solutions.<br /><br />Rennell joined the firm five years ago as head of private wealth solutions for Asia, following the acquisition of the Bank of Bermuda.<br /><strong><br />RBC Wealth Management</strong><br />Vineet Arora has joined the wealth manager, part of the Royal Bank of Canada, as a senior banker based in the Dubai office.<br /><br />Arora joins from IIFL Private Wealth Management, where he was head of Middle East and Africa.
