The bank has hired Eli Koen and Mathieu NŹgre as co-heads of emerging European equities.

The pair join from Fortis Investments. Koen has 17 years of experience in the Turkish equity market and NŹgre has been managing emerging European funds since 2001.

UBP said the hires would increase the bank’s coverage of some of Europe’s fastest-growing markets, adding that it believes most institutional investors are under-invested in both emerging market equities and bonds.
