The private bank has appointed Jason Turner to the position of executive private banker in its private wealth management team. He joins from UBS Wealth Management, where he was a client adviser. Turner has over 14 years’ experience in the industry, and has also worked as a financial adviser with Bank of Scotland Investment Service.
Michael Frohlich has been appointed to the role of senior partner within the business consultancy firm’s European banking team. He has over 15 years’ experience in complex transformation management, and was previously a managing partner at Accenture.
Simon Palmer has been appointed head of Lloyds Bank’s complex deal team. He was previously managing director of the bank’s business support unit. Palmer has also served as head of operations at Lloyds TSB Scotland and vice president of risk at Lloyds Banking Group in the USA.
BNP Paribas Real Estate
The real estate division of BNP Paribas has announced several senior appointments. James Keys joins as senior director within its investment team from Capital Symonds. Hugh White joins as senior director of national investment from Lambert Smith Hampton. Finally, Edward Jackson joins as a surveyor in national investment from Torrin Asset Management.
The accountancy firm has appointed Simon Braidley as a private client tax associate director. He most recently worked for specialist tax practices linked to the Lloyd’s insurance market, and he has also operated his own tax practice. Braidley started his career at the Inland Revenue.
Hastings Insurance Services
The insurance broker has announced two senior appointments. Paul Whymark joins as operations director from RSA, where he was head of affinity operations. He has also held managerial positions at RBS, Churchill, Boots and Bupa. Jonathan Sutcliffe joins as claims director from ACE’s Paris office, where he was claims director for continental Europe.
Dominic Holmes has been appointed business development director at the life assurance group. He joins from Aegon, where he was marketing director for its packaged product propositions. Holmes has over 20 years’ experience in the industry, and began his career at Aegon in 1990.
