Duncan Lawrie
Jane Parry has been appointed to the UK board of Duncan Lawrie Private Bank. She joined the business a year ago and is now director, head of marketing and new business development. Parry started her banking career at Barclays, where she became marketing director of Premier banking in 2006. She has also held senior posts at HomeServe and Skandia International.

Norton Rose
The law firm has appointed Peter Young as a partner in its London capital markets practice. He was previously a partner at Vinson & Elkins for six years. Young trained as a barrister and was admitted to the New York Bar in 1994. He qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2009.

Sidley Austin
Vincenzo Salvatore has joined the law firm as senior counsel in its European life sciences regulatory practice. He joins from the European Medicine’s Agency, where he served as head of legal service. Salvatore is full professor of international law at the University of Insubria in Varese, Italy, where he teaches EU law and international trade law.

Veritas Asset Management
Antony Burgess has been appointed head of sales, marketing and client services at the investment boutique. He joined the firm in 2009 as institutional sales director and replaces Richard Meyrick, who leaves Veritas after four and a half years.

Jeremy Trinder has joined the law firm as a partner in its finance and real estate practice. He most recently worked as a partner at White & Case, and his background includes every aspect of the commercial real estate business, including loan origination, securitisation, and restructuring work.

Booz & Company
The management consultancy has appointed Richard Bhanap as a partner in its IT practice. Bhanap has over 20 years of experience in strategic consulting. He has previously worked as a partner at both Accenture and KPMG, and ran his own boutique consultancy firm.

Fulbright & Jaworski
Deborah Ruff is joining the law firm’s London office as a partner in its disputes practice and international arbitration capability. She has significant experience in multi-jurisdictional disputes, and specialises in the energy, infrastructure, construction, telecommunications and banking sectors. Ruff joins from Dewey LeBeouf, where she was co-chair of international litigation.
