CB Richard Ellis has appointed Adam Wilton as a senior director in its UK debt advisory division, based in London. Wilton joins from Barclays Corporate, where he was a director of the bank’s real estate structured finance business. Wilton has 12 years’ experience covering real estate finance, securitisation and principal finance. His experience includes positions in the real estate investment banking teams at Nomura and Bear Stearns.

Sacker & Partners
The pensions law firm has promoted Eleanor Daplyn and Stuart O’Brien to partner. Daplyn joined Sackers in 2003 and advises on all aspects of pensions law, and O’Brien joined the firm in 2003 and specialises in pensions and corporate transactions, pensions regulator clearance issues and pension investment.

VMA Group
The specialist recruitment consultancy has restructured its board. Julia Meighan has been promoted from chief executive to the newly created role of executive chairman and Claire Tuffin, a former associate partner at Brunswick, has been promoted to group managing director.

Reynolds Porter Chamberlain
The City law firm has expanded its real estate group by hiring Jonathan Northey as a senior associate from Bevan Brittan, where he was also a senior associate. In addition, Meena Oduru will join as an associate from Linklaters in October and Kajal Bilakhia will join as an associate on qualifying as a trainee solicitor at SNR Denton in September.

SJ Berwin
The law firm has strengthened its real estate service by appointing Mike Scott as a partner. Scott rejoins the firm after spending 18 months as a partner at commercial law firm Shepherd & Wedderburn.

Lazard Asset Management
Jennifer Millar has joined the firm as a regional sales manager in the UK third party distribution team. Prior to joining Lazard, she was an investment director at Standard Life.

White & Case
The law firm has hired Nicholas Lasagna as a local partner in its new Milan office. Lasagna, who previously worked at the Milan office of Latham & Watkins and is dual-qualified in English and Italian law, joins the firm’s Banking and Capital Markets Practice in Western Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
