Ladbrokes has appointed Ian Bull as chief financial officer, effective from 4 July, when he will report to Ladbrokes chief executive Richard Glynn. Bull joins Ladbrokes from Greene King, where he was group finance director from 2006, contributing to the expansion of the business through organic growth and the acquisition of 2,500 pubs across the UK. Prior to Greene King, Bull held positions at BT, The Walt Disney Company and Whitbread.
Anna Marks, an audit partner based in Deloitte’s Reading office, has been elected to the company’s board of partners in the UK. The business advisory firm has also appointed charity specialist Reza Motazedi to lead and expand the firm’s charity practice. Motazedi joins Deloitte from RSM Tenon.
Russell Lee has joined Mercer as a senior consultant in its financial strategy group business. Lee joins Mercer from QED Equity, where he helped hedge and restructure $40bn (£24.6bn) of risk assets for banks during his three years as principal.

The real estate broker has appointed Yahya Abdulla to its EMEA capital markets team in London. Abdulla joins from Al Salam Bank in Bahrain, where he was an assistant vice president in the investments team.
The AIM-listed provider of virtual queuing systems for theme parks has appointed John Weston, the former chief executive of British Aerospace and BAE Systems, as chairman, effective from 1 May.
The insurance group has promoted non-executive director Alastair Lyons, to the job of non-executive chairman. Peter Cullum, the current executive chairman, will step into the role of non-executive deputy chairman.
The specialist broker has appointed Lorne Daniel as a director of research in the technology research team. Daniel has previously worked at Arden Partners, Evolution Securities, Seymour Pierce and Citi Quilter.
The executive search firm has appointed Tessa Bamford to its UK Board Services Practice as a consultant. Bamford was recently appointed as non-executive director of Wolseley.
