The mid-market investment banking firm has appointed Nimish Shah as a principal in its US equity sales team.
Shah joins after eight years in Cantor Fitzgerald’s US equity sales team, working for FTSE 100 companies including insurer Legal & General and oil giant Shell.
He has also previously spent time at the likes of Credit Suisse, Lombard Odier and GRE Asset Management.
Adam Beck has rejoined the property group as a director in its City team, running the general practice and lease advisory capabilities.
Beck was previously a director at rival Jones Lang LaSalle and a consultant with Ingleby Trice, specialising in London lease advisory and asset management work. He also spent eight years working for DTZ earlier in his career.
The asset management group has appointed Sam West to help manage its Matrix Asia Fund, joining Rupert Foster and David Peerless.
West joins from Cantillon Capital Management and has also previously worked with Foster at FM Capital.
The professional services firm has poached Emma Hunt from Mercer Investment Consulting, where she was head of responsible investment and active ownership in Europe.
In her new role, Hunt will be a senior investment consultant in the sustainable investment team at Towers Watson, and starts later in February.

The headhunter has hired Denise Collis, a former 3i director, as a new non-executive director.
Prior to her role as group human resources director at 3i, Collis was a partner and head of UK HR at Ernst & Young, and a group HR head at Standard Chartered Bank.
The investment management group has opened a new office in Aberdeen, headed by John Henderson, Norman Law and Meera Dennis.
Henderson was formerly head of Rathbone’s Edinburgh office, while Law and Dennis were investment directors at Brewin Dolphin.
