The fund management group has promoted Jeremy Rance to the role of chief operating officer for the group. He will now be in charge of organising operational performance across all of the group’s subsidiaries. He joined the company in June last year at its subsidiary Ashcourt Rowan, having previously worked at Barclays, KPMG and AMP. At Ashcourt Rowan, he played a key role in buying and intergrating the Cooperative Bank’s IFA business.
The financial services firm has appointed Andrew Hodge as the new managing partner of its tax practice. Hodge will take over from David Sproul, who is moving to take over as chief executive in June.
The mid-market private equity firm has appointed Jim Graham as operating partner and Edward Lunken as origination analyst.
Graham joins the company from Candover, where he has been in a similar role for the past three years. He has also worked as a marketing manager for Orange and in a consultant role at Accenture, before which he was in the Navy for ten years.
Lunken comes to Phoenix from LEK Consulting, where he worked for three years. Before that, he worked as a researcher for the European Commission.
Erik Anderson has been appointed co-head of corporate broking at Collins Stewart. He will work alongside the other co-head, Mark Dickenson, and Roger Lambert, who chairs the division.
Anderson has 23 years’ experience in the area and has worked for the last eight at Investec. Previously, he has worked at WestLB Panmure and James Capel.
The grocer’s corporate division has appointed four new senior managers, three of them in newly created roles. Richard Lancaster has been promoted to marketing director, replacing Angus Maciver.
The new appointments include Belinda Youngs to own brand director, Nick Collard to commercial director, and Gordon Mowat as strategy director.
The insurance broker has appointed Alan Morton to senior claims advocate. He joins the company from Aon Global Risk Consulting. Previously, he has also worked at JLT.
