Signia Wealth
Signia Wealth has appointed Martin King as managing director to lead its new Birmingham office, which will serve ultra high net worth individuals in the West Midlands as part of CEO Nathalie Dauriac-Stoebe’s expansion plans for the business. King joins the wealth manager from UBS Wealth Management, where he founded the Midlands office as executive director. Prior to UBS, King worked at Kleinwort Benson private bank and Singer and Friedlander Investment Management.
Colliers
The property advisory firm has hired Leigh Parsons to lead the firm’s pub and restaurant agency team in Yorkshire and the north east. The appointment comes hot on the heels of Sean Ludden’s appointment to the licensed and leisure team in London. He will provide valuation services across the south east of England.
Pramerica Fixed Income
The asset management arm of Prudential Financial has named Philip Vlieghe as a principal, responsible for institutional client relations with Pramerica’s team in London. He joins from Vanguard Investments Europe, where he was head of institutional sales and relationship management.
Towers Watson
Bruce Rodio has been hired as senior investment adviser at the professional services company. Prior to joining Towers Watson, Rodio worked at Aberdeen Asset Management, where he held senior roles in institutional distribution and fixed income.
Quilter
Quilter, the wealth manager, has appointed Graham O’Donoghue as an investment manager in the Dublin office. Previously, O’Donoghue was a portfolio manager at Merrion Stockbrokers.
BLP
Law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner has hired Eleanor Porter as a senior associate. Porter, previously at Harbottle & Lewis, will join the London-based employment, pensions and incentives team this month. BLP has also hired structured finance specialist Prashanth Satyadeva, formerly a partner at Clifford Chance, as a partner in its banking and capital markets group, while banking specialist Derek Hrydziuszko, previously at Allen & Overy, joins the legal firm’s finance team.

The management consultancy to the European energy industry has appointed Dr Jim Fitzgerald as associate partner at its London operation. Fitzgerald has previously held senior roles at PwC and, most recently, Ernst & Young, where he was a member of the energy and environment infrastructure advisory practice.
