The accountancy firm has appointed Robert Langston as a partner. Langston joined the firm in 2011 as a tax manager specialising in corporate and international tax. He was previously at Grant Thornton.


Barclays

The bank’s corporate and employer solutions arm has made two senior hires. Lydia Fearn joins from Lane Clark & Peacock and has previously held senior roles at Hewitt. Jesal Mistry was most recently at Aon Consulting, where he specialised in investment consulting.

FTI Consulting

The advisory firm has announced the appointment of Jennie Younger as senior managing director in its strategic communications practice. Younger joins from Deutsche Bank, where she was most recently global head of client marketing for corporate and investment banking. She has previously held senior positions at GlaxoSmithKline and British Gas.

Royal Bank of Canada

Angelina Yap has joined the bank’s wealth management division as a director in its UK private client wealth management team. Yap has over 14 years’ industry experience, and joins from EFG Private Bank. She has previously worked at Standard Chartered Private Bank and HSBC Global Asset Management.

Crowe Clark Whitehill

The tax, audit and advisory firm has appointed John Cassidy as a partner to work on tax investigations. Cassidy joins from PKF, and has wide experience working in offshore evasion, fraud investigations, disputes with the HMRC and professional negligence claims.

Altius Associates

Arnaud Garel-Galais has joined the private equity advisory firm as a senior associate. He joins from Dahlia Partners, a Natixis subsidiary, where he worked in private equity fund-of-funds. Prior to that, he was at Calyon in Hong Kong.

Sarasin & Partners

Sarah McCarthy has been appointed head of marketing at the investment management firm. She was most recently executive director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, and has previously held managerial roles at Skandia Investment Group and AXA Investment Managers.
