The law firm has announced the appointment of Donald Guiney to its London capital markets group. Guiney specialises in international debt, equity, and other forms of financing. He joins from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he was a partner in its corporate department for 16 years.

Lombard Odier Investment Managers
Carolina Minio-Paluello has been appointed deputy chief investment officer at the investment management firm. She joins from Citigroup, where she was head of Europe, the Middle East and Africa for equity and private investor solutions. Prior to that, she spent nine years as a managing director for quantitative investment strategies at Goldman Sachs.

Davenport Lyons
The law firm has hired two commercial lawyers to its intellectual property and IT team. Tim Ryan, who joins as a partner, and Karim Senussi, as an associate, both previously worked at Clarke Willmott.

Jupiter Asset Management
The asset management firm has appointed Peter Swarbeck as head of its Asia Pacific business. Swarbeck was most recently head of BlackRock’s Hong Kong office. He has previously held senior roles at Mercury Asset Management and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.

AXA Real Estate
Michael Husung has joined the real estate investment management firm as German head of investor relations. Husung was most recently director of the European capital markets group at Hines Immobilien.

CVC Credit Partners
The asset management and investment firm has announced the appointment of Brandon Bradkin as a partner. He previously spent six years at Park Square Capital, where he was a partner and member of its investment committee. Prior to that, he was a managing director at the Dresdner Anschutz Mezzanine Fund.

Castle Trust
Matthew Wyles has joined the housing investment and equity loan provider as a senior adviser. He was most recently a main board director at Nationwide Building Society, and was formerly chairman of the Council of Mortgage Lenders.

Towers Watson
The professional services company has hired Michael Murphy as managing director of its risk consulting and software business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
