The wealth management firm has appointed Fadi Zaher as head of bonds and currencies. Zaher joins from Barclays Wealth & Investment Management, where he was head of fixed income strategy for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

SJ Berwin
Rick Baumgartner has joined the law firm as chief operating officer. Baumgartner has previously held senior roles at Ernst & Young, the Australian Stock Exchange and more recently at McKinsey.

Avelo
The technology solutions company has recruited David Bond as head of client services and support. He was most recently at B&H Worldwide, where he managed client services, technical support, infrastructure and supplier management.

Markel
The insurance firm has appointed Mike Richardson as European retail claims manager. He was previously claims manager for its UK retail division. Before joining Markel, he held claims positions at Hiscox and Sun Alliance Group.

Shepherd and Wedderburn
Colin McKay has been appointed finance and restructuring partner at the law firm. He was most recently lead partner for Lloyds Banking Group Commercial Banking at Eversheds.

Argentex
The foreign exchange company has appointed Jonny Maxwell to its advisory panel. Maxwell headed up Standard Life Investments Private Equity business.

Rudolf Wolff
Charles Cantil has joined the fund management firm as sales director. He has previously worked at James Capel and County NatWest. More recently, he was an emerging markets specialist at FMG Fund Managers.

Accenture
The professional services firm has appointed David Quinney as UK head of IT strategy. Quinney has worked at Accenture for 20 years.
