The commercial law firm has announced the appointment of Paul Gray as head of business development. Gray was formerly head of business development and marketing at King Sturge, which was acquired by Jones Lang LaSalle in 2011. He is chairman of the Vivat Trust.

Carol Chen has been appointed overall market head of greater China at the bank. She was previously market head of its greater China desk in Singapore, and will now also oversee the Hong Kong-based team.

David Trunkfield has joined the professional services firm as hospitality and leisure leader in the UK. Trunkfield has been a partner at PwC since 2010. He previously worked at COBA Group.

Jones Lang LaSalle
The real estate services firm has made two hires to its UK valuation team. Paul Tarrant will join as a senior surveyor, and was most recently at Cushman and Wakefield. George Freeman previously worked at Workman, where he was responsible for undertaking internal valuations.

Deutsche Bank
Susan Skerritt will join the bank as regional head Americas for its global transaction banking division. Skerritt has over 30 years’ transaction banking experience. She was most recently executive vice president, and global head of business strategy and market solutions for treasury services at BNY Mellon.

Canada Life Investments
The investment management company has made two hires to its sales and marketing team. Matt Couzens joins as sales investments director from Russell Investments, where he was associate director for its UK wealth management division. Prior to that, he spent five years at Legal and General (L&G) Investment Management. Deirdre McNamara joins as head of third-party relationships. She was previously third-party relationship manager at L&G.

The insurance company has recruited Esther Tun as senior claims adjuster. Tun was previously professional lines claims adjuster at Aspen Insurance UK and QBE Insurance (Europe).
