The financial services firm has announced the appointment of Martin Luen as a director in its business services investment banking team. He joins from Hawkpoint, where he was a director. Prior to that, Luen was a manager in audit and assurance at Deloitte and Arthur Anderson.

JP Morgan Private Bank
Tracy Maeter joins the private bank as head of investments for private clients in the UK. She was most recently at RBC Wealth Management, where she was head of investments. She has previously held senior roles at HSBC Private Bank.

The insurance company has appointed Peter Hazell to its board as a non-executive director. He was most recently UK managing partner at PwC, and has previously held non-executive roles at Argent and the audit committees of Brit Insurance Holdings.

Justin James has been appointed senior director and head of West End investment at the commercial property advisory firm. James has nearly 25 years’ experience in London investment and agency. He joins from BNP Paribas Real Estate, where he was worked since 2010.

Rowan Dartington Signature
The law firm has hired Derek Geen as business development manager. Geen has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, and joins from Ashcourt Rowan.

ECU Group
The currency manager has announced the appointment of Andrew Broadhurst as head of institutional currency management services. He was most recently head of global business development and a partner at Overlay Asset Management Partners. Prior to that, he spent 16 years at JP Morgan Investment Management, where he managed overlay strategies for its multi-currency portfolio.

Building Societies Association
Robin Fieth has joined the association as chief executive. He is currently the executive director for members and operations as the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). He joined the ICAEW in 2002.
