The professional services firm has announced the appointment of Mike Trenouth as a managing director in its European private equity practice. He has over 24 years’ experience in due diligence and operational performance improvement. He joins from LEK Consulting, where he was a partner. Prior to that, he was a director at iForce.

Rory Bateman has been appointed head of UK and European equities at the asset management firm. He joined Schroders in 2008, having previously held senior positions at Goldman Sachs.

The business advisory firm has hired Jeremy Haynes as a partner in its insurance practice. Haynes was most recently at RSA Insurance Group, where he was director of insurance risk and portfolio pricing. Prior to that, he held senior roles at Zurich Financial Services, and Bacon and Woodrow.

The law firm has made two appointments to its board. Robert Gillespie was director general of the Panel on Takeovers and Mergers from 2010 until April this year. He began his career in 1980, has held various roles at PwC and SBC Warburg, and was previously vice-chairman of UBS Investment Bank. David Turner is currently chairman of the board at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and has held directorships at Whitbread and the Iron Traders Insurance Group.

Andrew Joy has been appointed as a senior adviser at the wealth management company. He joins from Cinven, where he was a founding partner and where will retain his position as a senior adviser.

Westminster & City Property Associations
Central London’s property associations have appointed Jace Tyrrell as executive director. Tyrell joins from New West End Company, where he was director of communications.

Valad Europe
Greg Benhamou has been appointed head of investor relations as the real estate investment management firm. Prior to joining, Benhamou was head of Europe, the Middle East and Africa investor relations at GE Capital Real Estate.

Eversholt Rail
The rail group has announced the appointment of Andy Course as chief operating officer. Course previously worked as a director and strategy consultant at PwC. Prior to this, he spent over 20 years in the Royal Navy.
