Bovill
The financial services regulatory consultancy has appointed Laura Chappell, left, as head of its broking and institutional trading team. Chappell joins from Barclays Global Investors, where she was a director in its operational risk team.

Lloyds Bank
Anders Nilsson has joined the bank’s commercial banking division as head of global corporate FX sales. Nilsson has over 15 years’ experience in international corporate sales. He was previously at Citigroup, where he oversaw corporate FX sales as managing director and head of UK, Nordic, Ireland and Benelux.

FTI Consulting
Peter Brooke has joined the advisory firm as managing director in its financial services governance, risk and regulatory team. He was previously the founder member of the risk and regulation team at Navigant Consulting.

Knight Frank
The property investment company has appointed two senior surveyors. Campbell Beaton, a former GB skier, previously worked in the valuation team at Colliers. Charlie Fletcher joins from GVA, where he worked on its national investment team.

Barclays
The bank’s corporate and employer solutions business has hired four corporate wealth advisers. Virgil Higglesden, a chartered financial planner, joins from The Fry Group. Tony Dungworth was previously at RBS, where he advised corporate and private clients. Mark Burns was also at RBS, where he held a corporate independent financial planning role. Daniel Richards was most recently at HSBC.

Clarkson Capital Markets
Jeremy Sussman has been appointed global mining analyst at Clarkson’s investment banking division. He joins from Encompass Capital Advisors, where he was a senior research analyst. Prior to that, he was a managing director at Brean Murray, Carret & Co.

Michelmores
The law firm has promoted three associates to partnership: Mark Howard, a planning and environment practitioner; Lucy Smallwood, a property lawyer; and Alex Wood,who advises clients on corporate insolvency and restructuring.
