The business advisory, consultancy and software services firm has announced the appointment of Graeme Wood as a principal consultant in its domain group. Wood has over 17 years’ experience working for global investment banks. He joins from UBS, where he was an executive director and head of derivative middle office risk and control for Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Boodle Hatfield
The law firm has promoted four solicitors to its partnership: Hayden Bailey in its private client and tax division; Christina Christou and Graham Winkley in its property practice; and Tim Maxwell in its litigation group.

Commerzbank
Christoph Thierolf has joined the bank’s corporates and markets division as head of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Thierolf has worked at the bank since 2008 as co-head of its M&A healthcare and pharma team. Prior to that, he worked in the M&A division of Freseniur Healthcare and Pharma Group.

Amundi
The asset management firm has appointed Laurent Guillet as chief executive of its London branch. Guillet has been chief executive of Amundi Al since May 2011, having joined the firm in 2007. He was previously head of equity and fund derivatives sales from Europe and the Middle East in the capital markets division at Credit Agricole CIB.

Hudson Legal
The recruitment company has announced the appointment of Christopher Newton as a consultant within its London legal private practice team. He joins from G2 Legal, where he specialised in legal associate hiring for the London market.

Beavis Morgan
The London-based accounting and business advisory group has hired two business advisory specialists. Steve Govey, who joins from Mazars, has extensive experience in the media sector. Simon Noakes was previously at Chancery, where he worked with owner managed businesses, high net worth individuals, and professional practices.

GMP
The natural resources investment bank has appointed a new European oil and gas research team. Tao Ly was previously at Nomura and Credit Suisse, where he established energy and petroleum (E&P) franchises. Melanie Savage joined GMP from the UBS oil and gas team. Ritesh Gaggar most recently led E&P coverage at Credit Suisse.

Timothy Grainger Weller has joined the marketing solutions company as non-executive chairman of its board. He is currently chief executive and founder of Incisive Media.
