The underwriting division of Hyperion Insurance Group has announced the appointment of Jennifer Martin as underwriting and binder management officer. She was previously underwriting director of financial lines at the company.

The law firm has announced that Stephen Ashworth has re-joined its partnership to lead its UK planning group. Ashworth has spent the past three years as a consultant with the company, during which time he has been based as a diplomatic spouse in Botswana. He joined the firm as a trainee in 1986.

Lloyds TSB
Sarah Deaves has been appointed as investment advice and private clients director for wealth at the bank. She joins from RBS, where she was managing director for private banking and advice. Prior to that, she spent eight years as the first female chief executive at Coutts.

Hans Jurgen Meyer-Lindemann has joined the law firm as a partner in its antitrust and competition practice. Prior to joining, he was the Brussels office managing partner at Shearman & Sterling.

UK Green Investment Bank
The bank has announced the appointment of Euan McVicar as general counsel. He was most recently a partner at Pinsent Masons, where he specialised in the financing and development of energy projects.

The environmental support services group has appointed John Matthews to its board as senior non-executive director and chair of its audit committee. Matthews is currently senior independent director at Diploma, and a consultant at SDL.

The investment bank has appointed Andy Clarke as director. Clarke joined the bank in 2009 from Grant Thornton, having previously worked at LDC and KPMG.

Tammy Samuel has joined the rail team at the law firm. She was most recently a partner in the rail group at Dentons. Prior to that, she was a senior associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
