Brooks Macdonald Funds
The fund management division at Brooks Macdonald has announced the appointment of Linda McLaren as international business development manager. She joins from VAM funds, where she was business development manager.
Richard McGregor will join the bank’s court of protection division as vice president. McGregor, a chartered financial planner, joins from Towry, where he was responsible for its personal injury and clinical negligence team.
The bank and asset management firm has appointed Dawn Kendall as senior bond strategist in its wealth and investment division. Kendall joins from Architas, a subsidiary of AXA Wealth, where she worked on fixed income and alternatives management. She has previously held positions at Newton Investment Management and IAM.
BNP Paribas Real Estate
The real estate services firm has announced two new hires. Adrian Owen will join as UK head of residential consulting. He was most recently equity partner at Montagu Evans. Steven Cooper, who also joins from Montagu Evans, has been appointed residential consulting director.
The law firm has announced the appointment of Mark Spinner as a partner in its private equity team. Spinner brings over 25 years’ experience in the financial sector, and was most recently head of the UK private equity practice and corporate practice at Eversheds.
ING Investment Management has announced the appointment of Hans Stoter as chief investment officer and member of its international management committee. Stoter has been with ING since 1998, most recently as head of credit investments and global high yield portfolio manager.
Edison Investment Research
The investment intelligence firm has appointed Will Corkill as managing director and head of its Asia-Pacific region. He brings over 20 years’ experience in research, sales and fund management, and was previously head of investments at Macquarie Private Bank.
Victoria Oil and Gas
John Scott will join the emerging market oil and gas company as chief executive. He previously held senior roles at British National Oil Company, Citigoup, Standard Bank and ABN Amro.
