Butterfield Private Bank
Kim Hellier has been appointed head of private banking at the bank. Hellier has over 30 years’ experience in wealth management, and joins from Stonehage Investment Partners, where she was an executive director. She has previously worked at Credit Suisse and ABN Amro.

Simmons & Simmons
The law firm has appointed two new partners to its London office. Danny Tsang, who joins as a pensions partner, was most recently partner and head of pensions at K&L Gates. Ian Fraser, who will join the employment incentives team, was previously head of employee incentives at K&L Gates.

Towers Watson
The professional services firm has hired two industry specialists to lead its crisis management division. Paul Bassett, who has been appointed managing director, was formerly global chief executive of Aon Crisis Management. Justin Priestley, who will head the division’s crisis management consulting practice, also joins from Aon Crisis Management.

Unicorn Asset Management
The asset management firm has announced the appointment of Simon Moon as co-manager of its UK smaller companies fund. He has been a member of the Unicorn investment team since joining the firm in 2008, and previously worked as an analyst at JM Finn.

SEI
The provider of investment and fund processing solutions has appointed Ed Tomlinson as a regional director for its institutional group in London. Tomlinson has over 17 years’ asset management experience, and joins from BNP Paribas.

Buck Consultants
The consultancy firm has appointed Marcus Hurd as principal and senior consulting actuary. He joins from Aon Hewitt, where he was head of corporate solutions and head of technical in its fiduciary management division.

IMGROUP
David Marriage joins the information management services provider as head of strategy and business advisory. He was most recently at Man Group, where he held a number of senior roles including head of group performance management. Prior to that, he worked in finance and investor relations at Centrica.
