The law firm has appointed Simon Ross as managing partner. Ross joined the firm in 1990 and is currently a partner in its residential property team, where he acts for UK investors, property developers and entrepreneurs.

Ingenious
Katie Goodson-Thomas has been appointed director of production and acquisitions at the investment and advisory company. She has over 15 years’ industry experience.

Linklaters
Gordon Warnke has joined the law firm as global head of tax. He is currently head of its New York tax practice. Warnke succeeds Henk Vanhulle, who is now managing partner of the firm’s Belgian offices.

Mercer
The consultancy firm has announced the appointment of Niall Clifford as a principal in its UK financial strategy group. Clifford has over 11 years’ experience in the insurance industry, and joins from KPMG. Tom Geraghty has also joined Mercer as market leader and chief executive for Ireland.

Dundas & Wilson
The law firm has expanded its retail team with two new hires. Deborah Wales, who specialises in real estate investments, developments and leasing work, has been promoted to partner. Duncan Freeman joins as a senior associate from DLA Piper.

Broker Profile
The investor communications consultancy firm has
announced the appointment of Iain Daly as an investor relations and research consultant. Daly was previously a director of research at Canaccord Adams. Prior to that, he was a media sector analyst at Bridgewell Securities.

Trap Oil
The oil and gas company has announced two new hires. Scott Richardson Brown has been appointed to the board as group finance director. Richardson Brown, a qualified chartered accountant, has previously held senior roles at PwC, Oriel Securities and CSR. Michael Cameron, who joins as financial controller, was most recently at Dana Petroleum.
