The law firm has announced the appointment of Richard Williams as chief executive and member of its governing board. He was previously a finance director at Lawrence Graham and CPA Global, and has held various roles at Ernst & Young and Lane Clark & Peacock.

Deutsche Bank
Don Birchenough has joined the bank as head of media and telecom mergers and acquisitions (M&A) for the Americas. He was most recently co-head of the technology, media and telecom M&A group in the Americas for Credit Suisse.

The insurance company has appointed Kirstie Traas as head of operations. She joins from Zurich Financial Services, where she was head of governance and controls for western Europe.

Layla Fear has joined the bank as a wealth manager, responsible for developing new and existing business. She joins from JM Finn & Co, where she was an investment manager.

The employee and financial services firm has announced the appointment of Ashley Doody as chief information officer. He has spent the past two years as head of development at Motability Operations.

The executive search firm has announced the appointment of Thorsten Otremba as executive vice president. Originally at BMW, Otremba has spent the past nine years at Kienbaum.

State Street
The financial services and investment management firm has appointed Dr Markus Steiner as head of its global services business. Steiner has over 22 years’ experience in the asset management and investment fund industry. Most recently, he was head of UBS fund management in Switzerland.

Brooks Macdonald
Mark O’Connor has been appointed investment manager at the investment management and stockbroking firm. He joins from Rothschild Bank, where he was an assistant director in its wealth management division.
