The property consultancy firm has appointed Marc McConnell as global business development director. He joins from BNP Paribas Real Estate, where he was an executive director. Prior to that, he held business development and marketing roles at Fuller Peiser and NTL.
The financial services lobby group has expanded its leadership team. Dan Torjussen-Proctor joins as commercial director from the National Association of Pension Funds. Juliet Carey has been appointed director of PR and marketing and was previously head of financial services at Weber Shandwick.

Robert Alderman has joined the market development organisation for the gold industry as a managing director of private investment. Alderman has over 25 years’ experience in the private investment and asset management fields. He was most recently managing director and head of Americas Retail Distribution at Credit Suisse Asset Management.
The law firm has announced the appointment of Lorna Brazell as a partner. A specialist in intellectual property litigation, Brazell joins from Bird & Bird, where she has been a partner since 2001.
Paul Casson has joined the investment management firm to help manage its UK growth fund, segregated institutional UK growth accounts, and its UK hedge fund. Casson began his investment career with Martin Currie, and was most recently head of the Henderson Horizon Pan-European Alpha Fund. He is a member of the CFA Institute.

The investment and insurance company’s mortgage club has appointed Jeremy Duncombe director of mortgages. He was previously head of sales with Abbey for Intermediaries. Prior to that, he was director of sales at Advantage (the UK specialist lending arm of Morgan Stanley).
Henry Giles has been appointed as an analyst at the diversified income focused property company. He joins from National Investment Agency, where he was a senior surveyor. Giles is a certified member of the RICS valuer registration scheme.
