The professional services firm has announced the appointment of Simon Russell as head of its corporate finance technology, media and telecoms (TMT) practice. Russell joins from Hawkpoint, where he was managing director and head of European technology. Prior to that, he was global head of technology investment banking at Dresdner Kleinwort.

Lloyds Bank
Aidene Walsh has been appointed director of cards at the bank. She joins from RBS, where she was head of transaction services origination. She has previously held senior roles at ABN Amro and Citigroup.

S&P Capital
The financial information provider has made two new hires. Roderick Bridge, who joins as an equity analyst, was formerly an equity analyst at Evolution Securities. Unai Franco, who has been appointed as a capital goods equity analyst, was most recently equity research vice president at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Swiss and Global Asset Management
The fund management firm has appointed David Shanks as associate director in its UK distribution team. He was previously a business development executive at BNY Mellon, where he worked for six years.
