The travel group has announced the appointment of Sandra Campopiano as chief people officer. She joins from Premier Farnell, where she was chief people officer for six years.

KPMG
The professional services firm has made three hires to its tax litigation practice. Amanda Brown has been appointed overall head of tax litigation. She was previously indirect tax partner at the company. Boaz Goren, formerly a senior manager at PwC legal, will join as head of private client and owner-managed business. Robert Hartley will take the tax lead for corporate taxes in KPMG’s large corporates and financial services sectors. He was most recently at DLA Piper.

Eversheds
Brett Rowland has joined the law firm as a partner in its London office. Rowland has over 20 years’ legal experience, and specialises in intellectual property and pharmaceutical regulatory law. He was formerly head of intellectual property and life sciences at Sidley Austin.
Chartered Insurance Institute
The professional body has announced the appointment of Tom Woolgrove as president. Woolgrove is currently a managing director at the Direct Line Group.

GoldenSource
Bret Bange has been appointed head of sales for the Americas at the enterprise data management solutions company. He joins from First Derivatives.

GAIN Capital
Peter Cronin has joined the online trading services firm as managing director and head of GTX sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He was previously head of EMEA e-commerce at UBS Investment Bank.

Allen & Overy
The law firm has recruited Jochen Scheel as a partner in its Frankfurt office. He currently serves as a lecturer at Heidelberg and Munster universities.

Money Advice Service
Andy Briscoe has been appointed chair of the advisory body. He was previously chief executive of Life Trust Holdings and managing director of AA Insurance.
