The professional services company has announced the appointment of Andy Smith as a senior consultant in its underwriting consultancy division. Smith has over 30 years’ industry experience, most recently as an underwriting director at the RSA Group.

Deutsche Bank
Sriram Iyer has joined the bank as global head of its trust and agency services within its global transaction banking division. Iyer was previously based in Dubai as head of GTB MENA.

Norton Rose
Christian Dargham has joined the law firm as a partner in its Paris office. Dargham, who specialises in litigation and corporate compliance, will work on the litigation and dispute resolution team at the firm. He was most recently at Clifford Chance, where he specialised in product liability and white collar crime.

Edison Investment Research
The investment intelligence firm has appointed three new analysts to its London-based team of equities researchers. Andrew Mitchell joins as a financial analyst from Charles Stanley Securities. Tom Grady, a technology analyst, was previously at PwC. Paul Hickman, who has been appointed supervisory analyst, was most recently at Peel Hunt.

Renaissance Capital
The emerging markets investment bank has announced the appointment of David Ferguson as head of consumer, media, and IT research. He has worked at the bank for over six years, most recently covering media, IT and real estate for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Royal Mail Group
Jan Babiak has been appointed as non-executive director at the postal company. She currently sits on the boards of Walgreen and Bank of Montreal. Babiak has previously worked at Ernst and Young, holding managing partner and executive board roles in its UK and global practices.

The IT innovation firm has appointed Steve Mitchener as head of public and financial services in the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. He joins the firm after 20 years at CSC, where he was most recently president of financial services.
