The law firm has announced the appointment of Sukh Ahark as banking and finance partner. Ahark was most recently at Davenport Lyons, where he was head of banking and finance. He has previously worked at Herbert Smith and Pinsent Masons.

Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers
Chris Bates has joined the real estate advisory company as head of European real estate finance. Bates has over 19 years’ experience in the UK real estate market, including ten years in senior roles at RBS. He has previously held principal positions at GE Capital Real Estate and Chelsfield.

Pinebridge Investments
The investment management firm has made two new hires. Tucker Glavin joins as managing director for US sales. He was most recently director of institutional services at Lord Abbett. Paul Osborne has been appointed managing director for UK and European sales. He joins from Cohen & Steers, where he was head of European institutional sales.

DAC Beachcroft
The law firm has recruited two new partners. Adrian Williams joins its corporate insurance team from Swiss Re, where he was general counsel for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Nathan East joins its health real estate practice from Hempsons, where he was a partner.

Thesis Asset Management
Tamsin Sinclair has been appointed marketing manager at the investment management firm. She has previously worked at Barclays Wealth, Old Mutual Asset Managers, and Henderson Global Investors.

Kinetic Partners
Gary Ashford has joined the advisory firm as a member of its tax team. Ashford was most recently at RSM Tenon, where he was a partner and national head of tax investigations and dispute resolution. Prior to that, he held various roles at Grant Thornton and Ernst and Young.

The provider of The People’s Pension has hired Darren Philp as head of policy. Philp previously worked at the National Association of Pension Funds, where he was director of policy.
