The law firm has announced the appointment of Tim Dolan to its financial markets division. He joins from Pinsent Masons, where he was partner in its financial services regulatory team. He previously worked at the Financial Services Authority.

Cordea Savills
The property investment management firm has made two new hires. Helene Henning, who has been appointed asset manager, was most recently at Genesta. She has also held various roles at Accenture and Eurohypo. Sofia Sandh, who joins as an analyst, was previously at Catella Corporate Finance, where she was a transactions analyst.

Norton Rose
The law firm has announced the appointment of three corporate partners to its Sydney office. Richard Lewis was previously head of Corrs’s corporate advisory practice, where he advised private equity funds and pension funds on investments and divestments. Iain Laughland and Steve Johns previously specialised in mergers and acquisitions and privately negotiated transactions respectively.

Sainsbury’s Bank
Steve Burke has been appointed chief operating officer at the bank. He was previously executive director and chief operating officer at Diligenta. Prior to that, he worked at Friends Life and Axa Life in operations roles.

Pinsent Masons
Darren Mellor-Clark will join the law firm as a partner and head of indirect tax advisory. He was most recently associate partner in KPMG’s indirect tax division, where he was also head of its banking and funds team. Prior to that, he was head of VAT at UBS.

Jones Lang LaSalle
The real estate services firm has announced the appointment of Troy Javaher as head of capital markets for central and eastern Europe. Javaher has been with the company for over six years.

Dr Tony Hayward has been appointed non-executive chairman of the specialist gas-to-liquids company. He has served as chief executive of Genel Energy since November 2011, and is also senior independent director at Glencore International.
