The UK private equity buy-and-build firm has announced the appointment of Peter Shaw as an investment executive. Shaw was most recently at Dar Capital, where he worked within its execution team. Prior to that, he held various roles at Societe Generale.

Harrington Cooper
Peter Pearson Lund has joined the fund distribution company as a strategic adviser. He was previously chief executive at Rathbone Unit Trust Management, and formerly a director at Gartmore. He is on the advisory board at Momentum Global Investment Management.

Chadbourne & Parke
The law firm has appointed Partha Pal as a partner in its London office. Pal was most recently a partner at Sidley Austin, where he focused on cross-border banking and structured finance transactions.

Knight Frank
The residential and commercial property consultancy has recruited Angus Goswell as proprietary partner within its City office leasing team. Goswell joins from Jones Lang LaSalle, where he was an international director. Prior to that, he was equity partner at Healey & Baker.

Gary Campkin has joined the professional membership body as director of international strategy. He has wide experience of international issues following 25 years at the CBI, including 15 as head of its international group.

Brit Group
The insurance company has made two new appointments. Peter Jenkins and John Lentaigne have over 25 years’ experience in political and credit risk underwriting, and join the firm as co-heads of political and credit risk. Jenkins was previously at Beazley, where he was senior underwriter for its political, terrorism and credit risk division. Lentaigne was most recently at AXIS Speciality, where he was vice president for capital risk solutions.

Fox Williams
The City law firm has announced the appointment of Helen Farr as a partner in its employment team. Farr, who specialises in the financial and professional services sectors, was most recently at Pinsent Masons.
