The professional services firm has appointed Ed Shedd as head of its UK technology, media and telecoms practice. He is currently leader of Deloitte’s global media and entertainment sector.

Paola Biraschi has joined the bank’s markets division as managing director and head of financials credit strategy for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She was previously an independent consultant.

Hamptons International
The residential property agency has made two new hires. Johnny Morris joins as head of residential research. He has previously worked at Hometrack Data Systems, CBRE and Catalyst Housing Group. Fionnuala Earley has been appointed residential research director. She was formerly chief economist at Nationwide Building Society.

Amanda Clack has been elected vice president of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. She is currently real estate and infrastructure consulting partner at PwC.

Stephenson Harwood
The law firm has announced the appointment of Lisa Marks as an asset finance partner. She joins from Berwin Leighton Paisner, where she was a partner in its finance practice for eight years. Prior to that, she was a partner in the finance team at Denton Wilde Sapte.

The property investment management company has made two hires to its investor relations team. Gareth Fernandes has been appointed manager, and has previously held client service roles at Cushman & Wakefield Investors, Tishman Speyer, and Henderson Global Investors. Gloria Chan has been appointed client services manager. She was most recently at MGPA.

The mortgage solutions firm has recruited Paul McMillan as chief operating officer. McMillan has over 20 years’ banking experience, and has previously held a number of senior roles at RBS Group.

Rudolf Wolff
Charles Cantlie has been appointed sales director at the fund management firm. He has previously held various roles at James Capel and County Nat West. More recently, Cantlie was a sales director at FMG Fund Managers.
