FORMER PwC beancounter, Citi trader and more importantly winner of City A.M.’s very own City Fittie talent search Josh Lewsey has now left the Square Mile.
The ex-England rugby star is returning to the rugby world, but won’t be binning his suits just yet, as his new role is based firmly off the pitch.
Lewsey, who used to play for London team Wasps, has been taken on board by the Cornish Pirates as chief executive and performance director.
Lewsey explained: “The reason why I have taken this job is that I am passionate about the county and excited by both the potential and challenge of moving this famous club forward.”
Meanwhile Lewsey’s former employer Citi wasn’t offering any hearty words of best wishes for the future, telling The Capitalist it had “no comment” on the move.
