Cheesegrater maker swings to a loss

Structural steelwork maker Severfield-Rowen yesterday announced pre-tax losses of £21.5m in its full-year results, compared to a £10m profit the year before. Chairman John Dodds said problems with its contract on the 122 Leadenhall Street, also known as the Cheesegrater tower, were the biggest of several issues that led to the loss.
