Carillion wins £130m Oman contract

Carillion said yesterday it had won a £130m contract with the Oman Tourism & Development Company (Omran) to build exhibition halls, an energy centre and a threestorey car park in the sultanate over the next 18 months. The support services company cited the contract as a probable order in its interim management statement at the start of May. Last month it was awarded a £400m deal to develop the first phase of London’s Battersea Power Station.
