CARILLION today announced that it has been awarded two contracts by Network Rail worth £122m and that it is on track to meet its full-year targets.

The construction group has won two Crossrail contracts, which involve a wide range of services including design, track work, cable management and minor civil engineering work.

In a trading update, the firm said that the planned re-scaling of it UK building division had led to lower first-half revenue but this was in line with expectations and did not impact full-year outlook.
