OUTSOURCING firm Capita yesterday said it had finally signed two contracts worth £474m with Barnet Council, after the High Court dismissed a local resident’s legal challenge.

Under the deals, Capita will run the council’s back office services and enter a joint venture with the council to deliver infrastructure services in the north London borough. The resident had claimed that the council failed to consult properly on the contracts.
