Fund giant BlackRock yesterday announced a high level reshuffle in London, moving EMEA chairman James Charrington into a new regulatory role at the money management house. Charrington becomes the point-man for BlackRock’s liaison activities with the UK government. Former chief investment officer at Swiss Re David Blumer will step in to lead the EMEA division after Charrington’s move.
