THE PROSPECT of horse racing’s two biggest names mating has moved closer after Black Caviar’s trainer admitted the unbeaten mare’s owners want to breed her with record-breaking Frankel.
The Australian, set to return to Britain for Royal Ascot in June, has 24 wins from 24 races, while Frankel retired with a 100 per cent record from 14 races.
“There is a strong, concerted push for her to be bred to Frankel,” said Peter Moody. “A foal by Frankel out of Black Caviar would be quite something.”
